cancer survivors share with icyou

hey all i wanted to share with you what people have been sharing with http://www.icyou.com: videos from cancer survivors about their experience(s) with cancer and what they have done in their lives since having been diagnosed, gone through, and beat cancer. i've been watching the videos here on Survivor Celebration and I see definite similarities and i would like to encourage everyone to consider uploading their videos to icyou, since, after all, it is a user-generated site.

A Reason For Hope

Most people know the story of Job in the bible, how he went through great trial and tribulation, lost just about everything and finally made it through the other side.

In Job 6:11, Job says: “What strength do I have, that I should still hope? What prospects, that I should be patient?"

Have you ever thought or said those words? I know I have. I spoke on Saturday in Denver to a group of doctors, nurses and cancer survivors on the topic of surviving, thriving and celebrating… Continue

For those of you who have never had the snack it is a combination of dried fruit, nuts, and sometimes chocolate. It was made as a quick treat to be taken along on the trail. I pick through my trail mix and really enjoy some of it and then there are some pieces that just get left in the bag.

My scans were like a bag of trail mix.....there were pieces that I really, really liked and… Continue

My cousin Kathie

Another relative lost a battle with cancer. How many more will this happen to before we find a cure.

It was very sad to see her parents and know their child died before they did. Kathie knew she was going to die and wrote her funeral plans. She wanted it to be a Celebration of Life and it was. The stories that were told were awesome. I learned things… Continue
